On Saturday night, I made black bean nachos and Stan and I watched "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" while sitting under the kotatsu (a low, heated table). We were both feeling lousy because of our colds. Nonetheless, it was heavenly.

Last night, I made vegetable soup and grilled camembert sandwiches, and we watched "The 40 Year Old Virgin" while sitting under the kotatsu. Again, our health sucked, but the food was good and the movie was hilarious!

Today I woke up with an earache. I knew that it meant that I had another sinus infection/ear infection combo. Ugh! It was so painful. I knew that I needed to get to the hospital as soon as possible! So, I called in to work, got my boss to call the hospital, and then headed off to see Dr. Yamagiwa!

He said it's the same type of infection that I had back in November and December. So, I got a nebulizer treatment, IV antibiotics, and a whole slew of pills and nasal sprays. You can ALWAYS count on getting a boatload of medication when you go to see a Japanese doctor!

I'm glad to say that the pain in my ear has lessened already. I wouldn't mind if this sore throat, runny nose, and cough would hit the road, too!

I hope this doesn't happen everytime I catch a cold. That would be nightmarish!

Ugh, i had bronchitis which turned into pneumonia, then back to bronchitis. Terrible! I finally had to go to the doctor and get anti-biotics.

I love the life aquatic, I watch it regularly. It's almost the perfect film.

Grilled camembert sandwiches sound amazingly good. I have been experimenting with different cheeses as well.
